Veronika Bartakova
Manager - Limited Partners & Government
Veronika drives LP engagement at the NATO Innovation Fund. She focuses on building strong and lasting relationships with LPs while ensuring seamless communication between the fund, its LPs, NATO and government stakeholders. Her journey with the NIF began at its inception — she served as the lead action officer for the NIF’s setup and launch at NATO HQ, contributing to its development from the early concept stage.
Before joining NATO, Veronika worked as a programme coordinator and science communications officer at prg.ai, a Czech non-profit working to develop the AI ecosystem in Prague. She also completed internships at the Czech Embassy in London and the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Veronika holds an MSc in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a BA from the Anglo-American University in Prague — where she became interested in the profound implications of emerging and disruptive technologies on defence and security.
Outside of work, Veronika enjoys staying active, exploring the outdoors, cooking Thai food, and tending to her many houseplants.
