Helen leads the Finance and Risk Management functions at the NIF, ensuring a robust system, processes, and governance to effectively support the team, the portfolio, the investors, and the evolving requirements of the fund with a data and KPI driven approach pursuing continuous improvement towards operational excellence.

Previously Helen was CFO at Avedon Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on growing mid-market companies and CFO at Lagardere Travel Retail in the Netherlands. Before that Helen had several finance, risk and compliance roles at different FMCG companies, like Tommy Hilfiger, Ebay, O’Neill and HEMA. Helen started her career in audit and financial services with Arthur Andersen and Deloitte. Helen has a master’s degree in accountancy & control from the University of Amsterdam. Outside of work Helen likes to travel, have long walks on the beach or in the dunes and spend time with friends and family.
